Melissa Spevacek
Melissa Spevacek is the founding executive director of The Studio. Favorite credits include Sharon in ‘Master Class’ (4 different productions) including the Columbia Artists Tour starring Elizabeth Ashley. Other credits include Strike Up the Band starring Bea Arthur, 'My Fair Lady (Eilza)’, ‘Pirates of Penzance’ (Mabel), ‘Hello Dolly’ (Irene Malloy), ‘Rags’ (Bella), ‘Putting it Together’(Maid), ‘A Little Night Music’ (Anne), Fiddler on the Roof (Hodel and Tzeitel) among many others in professional theatres across the country and in Canada. She sings annually for a crowd of 1500 people with the acclaimed Salt River Brass Ensemble, has been heard on several CD recordings of new composers, and was featured on CBS Sunday Morning. She was a scholarship student at Arizona State University, with a degree in Choral Music Education from Arizona State University. She continues to study with Andrew Byrne and Craig Carneilia, and has been teaching piano and voice forever.
